Title: Senior Project Manager, China Alliance

Job Summary

Has a primary focus as a designated Project Manager for FB-HRS LLC to work directly with clients to ensure deliverables fall within the applicable scope, timeline and budget in a timely fashion. Working as a Strategic Alliance, incumbent will keep stakeholders informed on a regular basis. This position also requires coordination with Finance and Corporate Development to ensure all aspects of each project are carefully analyzed and compatible. This position serves as the primary liaison with Corporate Development, Finance, strategic partners and industry collaborators to determine priorities and accelerate the organization’s growth.




  • Serve as lead PM to drive NDA product development
  • Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan
  • Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner
  • Prepare budget based on scope of work and resource requirements; Track project costs in order to meet budget
  • Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress
  • Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables
  • Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution
  • Serve as primary liaison with corporate development partners, including clients, industry executive, contractors and consultants, strategic partners and collaborators
  • Execute co-development, licensing, JV, partnership and acquisition deals
  • Assist in technical and business due diligence to select, identify and secure development products
  • Work closely with Finance, R&D, CMO, BD team to determine corporate development priorities to ensure and accelerate corporate’s strategic growth
  • Collect relevant industry intelligence and share with appropriate senior management to stay current and informed
  • Develop and grow essential business connections; drive deep relationships with key partners
  • Assist in monthly tracking by R+D associate on projects in order to determine efficiency and project profitability by project type and for the overall project. This information is also to be used to determine any potential accounting adjustments for losses
  • Assist in working and controlling with Finance the distribution of Revenue line items for each project from fully executed contracts
  • Support in preparing short and long term strategic financial models for CDO Business; Assist in annual Budget preparation
  • Prepare updated forecasts (Quarterly, etc…) and assist in quarterly reviews of Project Profitability as required
  • Special projects as required

Knowledge and Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or related discipline
  • Bilingual Chinese
  • Prior CMC, Business Development and Project Management in a pharmaceutical environment
  • Pharmacokinetic and clinical trial management experience highly preferred
  • In-depth understanding of the financial requirements for capturing, tracking and forecasting revenue
  • MBA and PMP preferred
